Summary of Survey Responses
In summary, our survey data indicate that blended learning has entered the mainstream of executive education. Our data confirm that schools are offering blended learning programs, and new technologies are supporting this effort. Much of the increased activity in blended learning is driven by client demand. Companies today desire a greater application of concepts to the world of work. In addition, chief learning officers perceive learning as an ongoing activity, not an event. Blended learning allows the learning experience to be extended over a longer period of time and to be integrated into the participants’ work experience.
