European Commission launches new plan to promote social entrepreneurship in the Single European Market

Today in Europe, social businesses employ more than 11 million people, 6% of all workers. What are their aims, their needs and what obstacles do they face in Europe? Nobel Peace Prize winner M. Yunus, microcredit specialist Maria Nowak (ADIE), social investment pioneer Sir R.
