NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Media conglomerate News Corp. has entered the race for next-generation education technologies, according to media reports on Wednesday.
The Wall Street Journal revealed that News Corp. recently paid 360 million U.S. dollars for 90 percent of Wireless Generation, a New York-based company that develops software to help schools evaluate and monitor student performance and tailor teaching plans accordingly. New York City is Wireless Generation's client.
